Hipolito Fabela Jr.

Hipolito Fabela Jr. of Cozad passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital at the age of 67. Hipolito was born September 27, 1955 in Muleshoe, Texas to Hipolito Fabela Sr. and Dora Fabela. He worked as an auto mechanic most of his life, which he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cynthia Fabela; and brother, Juan Fabela. Survivors include his daughter, Paulette Favela (William Burgos) and son, Paul Flores (Amber Kouba); grandchildren, Joel Favela, Cynthia Favela, Adrian Favela, Arianna Flores, Mya Flores, Lilah Flores and EJ Flores; sister, Lupe Gongora; brother, Oscar Fabela; significant other, Yuliet Peña; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
