William B. Cavitt

William B. Cavitt, former Cozad resident, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at his home in Kearney, Nebraska at the age of 70. William was born November 27, 1949 at Big Spring, Texas to Gloria Barela and William Cavitt. William was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed watching football. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert; and grandparents, Vinecetta Barela and Natividad Barela. Survivors include his wife, Linda L. Cavitt of Kearney; daughter, Dusty Coller of Kearney; son, Gary (Shara) Guetrauze of Kearney; grandchildren, Cherokee and Tyree Coller of Kearney; brothers, George Cavitt of Omaha, Tony Cavitt of Omaha, Nat Cavitt of Omaha and Marty (Marge) Cavitt of Grand Island; sisters, Nancy Cavitt of Omaha, Gloria Jean Bradley of Omaha and Bessie Cavitt of Omaha. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Cozad Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Berryman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
