Virgie A. Arnold, former Cozad resident, passed away August 29, 2018 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 89. Virgie was born  November 5, 1928 in Cozad, Nebraska to Lee and Effie (Smith) Rinehart. Virgie married Keith Arnold on March 26, 1950 in Cozad, Nebraska. The couple owned and operated Keith's Radio Magnavox and Stereo Store in Cozad for many years. Virgie loved crafts, gardening, cooking and baking. Survivors include her daughters, Rita Choquette of Lincoln and Lora Arnold of Omaha; sister-in-law Bonnie Rinehart of Cozad; granddaughter Holly Choquette of Lincoln; great grand children, Isiaiah Graves, Jaida Graves, Gabriella Graves, Noah Choquette, Elijah Cage, Olivia Choquette and Micaiah Cage, all of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister; two brothers and granddaughter, Emy Choquette.   In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association of Nebraska and Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association. Services will be Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cozad United Methodist Church with Pastor Doug Smith officiating. Burial is at Fairview Cemetery, south of Cozad. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 8pm at Berryman Funeral Home.
