Sherry Ann Turner passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in Englewood, Colorado at the age of 73. Sherry was born on January 10, 1952, in Cozad, Nebraska to Raymond and Erma (Schmeeckle) Turner.

Sherry graduated from Eustis High School in 1970, where she was known for her vibrant spirit, having served as the homecoming queen. She then attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln, earning her Masters in Speech Language Pathology. During her time at university, she joined the Pi Beta Phi sorority, forming lifelong friendships and cherished memories. Her adventurous spirit took her to Italy for a year, where she created cherished memories.

After college, Sherry moved to Breckenridge, Colorado, where she began her career working on Peak 9 and in a clothing store. Following her passion for jewelry, she opened her own store, Nordica Haus, at the base of Peak 9. Eventually, she transitioned to becoming a mortgage lender in Breckenridge before moving to Cherry Creek in Denver, where she continued her career until retirement.

Sherry had a deep love for the mountains. She enjoyed skiing and hiking, and spent many joyful moments fishing at Parathyon Point and boating at Gallagher Canyon and Plum Creek Canyon. Known for her sociable nature, she loved entertaining and often gathered with family and friends in her backyard, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Sherry's legacy is one of adventure, hard work, and the joy of connection with loved ones.

Sherry is survived by her brothers Doug Turner of Sun City, AZ and Brad Turner of Eustis. Nieces and Nephews Ryan (Afsoon) Turner of Hillsborough, CA; Melodie (Tracy) Bellamy of Kearney; Melisa (Brian) Busse of Morrison, CO; Amanda Moore of Omaha; Nick (Erin) Turner of Grand Junction, CO; and Ashley (Michael) Herndon of Litchfield Park, AZ and lots of grand nieces and nephews; as well of numerous lifetime friends that she considered family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Erma Turner, her brother, Dallas Turner, and a nephew, Kelly Turner.
