Ronald Richard Hall

October 14, 1946 — August 2, 2022

Ronald Richard Hall, 75, of Elwood, NE passed Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at CHI-Kearney, after mounting health issues and CLL. Ron was born October 14, 1946, to Garland and Evelyn (Cashler) Hall, in Greeley, CO. Siblings Sonny & Connie. Ron grew up in Colorado and would learn to be a Heavy Machinery operator. He continued this line of work when he moved to Melbeta/Minatare, NE area in early 1980's. He worked at the Sugar Factory in Scottsbluff, NE for many years as a Loader Operator. He met and married, Rosemary June (Lee) Snow on January 13, 1984. He would gain two daughters and a son. In May of 1985, he would take on the role of Grandpa, when he held his first grandchild. A role he absolutely loved. Ron and Rosemary would live in Louisville, KY for many years before retirement brought them back to Nebraska, to be closer to family. Retirement meant driving around Johnson Lake with a fishing pole always in reach. Ron is survived by daughter, Grace (Marvin) Cochrane, of rural Elwood; grand children: Elizabeth (Juan) Martinez-Molina, Briana, Angel & Julian, of Lincoln, Amanda Molina and Goddaughter, Izabella Mae-Rose, of Lexington, Anthony (Adriana) Molina, Renata, Amaya and Viviana, of Lincoln, Nicole Molina and son, Joaquin of Lexington. Shyann (Colton) Walker, Tyson, Abraham and Callum, of Syracuse,  NE. Son: Joe C Snow, of Sioux City, IA. Grandchildren: Kaysha (Stephen) Snow, Taysha, Tawny, Kyleigh & Bradin. Also Kerra Snow & Ashleigh(Kinzliegh & Aiden), all of Greeley, CO. Chris Snow (Paisley, Aviannah & Mabel), James, Mae-Rose & Evelyn Snow, all of Winnebago, NE. Daughter: Lori (Eric) Hagan, of Elwood. Grandchildren: Adam Mathews, Dylan Mathews, of North Platte, NE. Jordan Hagan of KS. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 33yrs, Rosemary, his parents & granddaughter HopeMarie Snow, carrying baby Dominick & great granddaughter, Adaline Grace Walker.

Cremation was chosen. A private family service and burial will be held near Johnson Lake at a later date. Berryman Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
