Ronald James Blackler of Cozad Nebraska passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 57. He was born on April 24, 1968 to James Blackler and Catherine (Ginn) Robertson in Milford, Massachusetts. He grew up in Franklin, Massachusetts and graduated high school in 1986. Ron moved to Nebraska with his best friend Keith Ryan who has since passed away in 2018. Ron met our mother through Keith in the year 1989 at Gothenburg, NE. They married in 1998 and through this union, 3 Children were born, Shellie 30, Keri 28 and Bryan Blackler 24. The family settled in the Nebraska area until his passing. In 1995, a daughter, Lillian 16, was born to he and Amber Wear. Ron worked in remodeling, landscaping and tree service and others throughout his life. His hobbies included working on cars, "especially is 1976 Camaro", he liked to build furniture and desks, cooking and grilling out, going to the lake, putting in car audio for the kids and himself, bike riding with his kids, playing racing games, he loved motorcycles and going to stock car races too. Ron was always willing to lend a hand to anybody in need, especially his kids. Hе had high energy and was always finding something to do with his time. There was never a dull moment when Ron came around. Survivors include his mother Catherine Robertson, his daughter Shellie (Jacob), his son Keri (Breanna), his son Bryan, and his daugther Lillian, his grandchildren; Mavrick, Haven, Blakely, Shiloh, Shay and Shadrich, his sisters Julianna Valentina, Uxbridge Ma, Linda Baker, Ashland MA, Sharon Blackler, Boston MA, a niece, Nicole Angers, Oxford MA, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceeded in death by his father, James Blackler. 

Memorials are suggested to a charity of your choice or to the family for later designation. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel.
