Kenneth C. Toberer

Kenneth C. Toberer of Eustis passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Elwood Care Center at the age of 85. Kenneth was born June 23, 1934 in Eustis, Nebraska to Fred and Paulena (Schneider) Toberer. He graduated from Eustis High School. Kenneth was born and raised on the family farm. He enjoyed being a rancher and spending time with his cattle. Kenneth loved to tinker with equipment and make one thing out of several different things. He spent several years in the church choir and was a self taught guitar player. Kenneth loved spending time with family and never left the house without his cowboy hat. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Roger Monter. Survivors include his sister, Ruth Monter of Eustis; nephew, Steven (Debbie) Monter of Cambridge; niece, Joyce (Lynn) Young of Eustis; great nephews, Michael Monter of Cambridge and Shawn Young of Lincoln; great nieces, Sarah (David) Marshall of Omaha, Brooke (Joe) Lambert of Papillion and Kaitlyn (Michael) Ziola of Lincoln; and several great great nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church with Vicar Kathy Gundell officiating. Burial will follow at Eustis East Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 30, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, family will be present. Berryman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
