Kenneth Erwin Stuehm

Kenneth E. Stuehm of Cozad passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Cozad Community Hospital at the age of 79. Kenny was born March 31, 1941 at Paxton, Nebraska to Arthur and Elva (Ingwersen) Stuehm. The family moved to Smithfield, Nebraska and Kenny graduated from Bertrand High School with the class of 1958. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army. On July 3, 1965, Kenny married Marjorie Jane Rundstrom. Their union was blessed with two sons, Scott and Shannon. He owned and operated his own drywall business for many years. His hobbies included fishing, bowling and being an auctioneer and attending auctions. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Janie; and 2 brothers, LaVerne and Ronald. Survivors include his sons, Scott and Tracy Stuehm with their children Nicole, Brandon, Derek of Colorado Springs, CO and Shannon Stuehm with his children Cody and Cassie of Chesapeake, VA; a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Cozad Cemetery with Father Mike Pampara officiating.
