Gladys Irene Wolf, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully at Sutherland Care Center on Tuesday early evening, May 13, 2025 at the age of 100.
Gladys was born November 8, 1924 to Fred and Lou Miller and spent many of her growing up years in Farnam, Nebraska, where her parents lived out the rest of their lives.
Gladys was very loved by her family. This past November, they made a wonderful memory together, as they gathered with cupcakes, balloons and music to have a very special time of celebration for Gladys’ 100th birthday!
Gladys is survived by her two daughters, Geraldine (Larry) Adler of Overland Park, KS, Beverly (Del) VanDerwerff of Curtis, NE; six grandchildren, Jay (Kelley) VanDerwerff of Leavenworth, KS, Stacey Weller of San Antonio, TX, Julie VanDerwerff of Leavenworth, KS, Marty (Dana) Adler of Overland Park, KS, Jaylyn (Brice) Maddock of Columbus, GA, and Jackie Hughes of Los Angeles, CA; 11 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Gladys was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Jean, her father, Fred Miller, her mother, Lou Miller and her husband of more than fifty years, Arthur Wolf.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Cremation was chosen. A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Eustis East Cemetery with Rev. Jaylyn Maddock officiating.
