Edith Hermosillo

On May 29th, 2022, Edith Hermosillo passed in a devastating accident in Lincoln, Nebraska at the young age of 22. Born alongside a twin sister, Sarai Hermosillo, on December 8th, 1999 in Lexington, Nebraska. During Middle School, Edith ran cross country and dabbled in One Acts. In high school, Edith passionately played the snare drum and attended multiple football and basketball games, to which she loved to entertain the court and field with her solos. She graduated in May of 2018. Edith was known for her contagious laugh, her incredible sense of humor, and her loyalty towards her family and friends. She could walk into a room and liven it up. Any crowd was a party! She loved to attend live concerts, make her own beats, and listen to others music. In her spare time, Edith crushed at Grand Theft Auto. She cherished her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with siblings, cousins, mother and father. If she wasn’t with her family, she was either having a deep conversation with a friend or stranger, or playing Grand Theft Auto with her cousin, Israel Hermosillo. Edith was a dog mom to Oliver, to which she loved to spoil and take on numerous long walks daily. Edith is survived by her parents, Aurelia Hermosillo and Efrain Hermosillo; twin sister, Saraí Hermosillo, sister, Candy Hermosillo, brother, Bryan Hermosillo and her dog, Oliver; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorials are suggested to the family in her name for later designation. Services will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home. Rosary will follow visitation at 7 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
