David W. Traxler

David W. Traxler, born on December 16, 1981, in Kearney, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2025, at Cozad Community Hospital.

David faced many challenges throughout his life but showed great resilience, earning his GED despite the obstacles in his path. He was unable to work, yet he remained a source of strength and love to those around him. David had a deep affection for his family and friends, and they were a significant part of his life.

David will be remembered for his warm spirit and the love he shared with everyone who knew him. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but his memory will continue to live on through the love he gave to others.

David was preceded in death by his parents, David L. Traxler and Dorrie Ann Moore; and half sister, Lora Kay Debord. Survivors include, sister, Daisy Clark; nieces, Dakota and Chyann Clark, Jessica Debord and Emily Bell; the love of his life, Carmen Lobdell and her children, Rutger, Roen and Ryly Valkema.

Cremation was chosen and there will be a private family celebration at a later date.
