Beverly Ann Dunmire

Beverly Ann Dunmire, formerly of Cozad, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at her home in Gothenburg, Nebraska at the age of  77. Bev was born July 20, 1943 in Emporia, Kansas to Earl Parker and Sylvia Lawson. She married Gary Dunmire on November 21, 1959 at North Platte, Nebraska. The couple lived in Arizona, Indiana, Kansas and Nebraska before making their home in Cozad in 1987. Bev worked in Home Health, at a nursing home and retired from South Central in 2010. She loved to crochet pot holders, dolls, clothes for dolls and enjoyed reading. Bev especially loved spending time with her family and getting together for holidays. In 2019, Bev moved to Gothenburg to live with her daughter Deb. Bev was a faithful and devoted member of the Cozad Christian Church. Bev was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Gary Dean; 3 sisters, Vicky Parker, Myrtle Ziegler and Billie Navarrete. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Deb Coffey of Gothenburg and Patricia (E.J.) Nix of Lexington; sons, Robert Dunmire of  Cozad and Steve Dunmire of Cozad; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grand children; 2 great great grandchildren; sisters, Grace Dight of Gothenburg, Nancy (Allen) Jackson of Gove, KS, Dianna Linkenauger of Lillington, NC, Carol (Glenn) Jones of Phoenix, AZ, Karrie (Bobby) Mead of Cozad; brother-in-law, Eddy Navarrete of Gothenburg; dog, Bella; cat, Willow; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cozad Christian Church with Pastor Mike Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
