Andrew J. Conroy of Eustis, Nebraska passed away Monday, June 22, 2026 at the age of 44. Andrew was born on May 18, 1982, in Cozad, Nebraska to Charlie Conroy and Tammy Haussler. He grew up in Cozad and graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 2001.
Even as a young man, he displayed a curiosity for the world around him and a remarkable work ethic that would shape the years ahead. His professional journey included positions at Tenneco Automotive and Hunt Cleaners before he found a lasting place at Eustis 66, where he worked from 2016 until his passing. Andrew was a valued colleague who approached his work with diligence and a commitment to doing things right.
Family was at the very core of Andrew’s life. He was immensely proud of his role as a father and uncle, and attended every sport and school event. Andrew set an example of what true involvement and encouragement meant. He cherished all opportunities to hunt and fish, especially those shared with his father, Charlie, and his son, Blake. Their time together on the water and in the field created treasured memories that will endure in their hearts.
Andrew never stopped seeking and learning. If he didn’t know the answer to something, he would research until he found it, embodying a love of discovery that made him a source of knowledge and help to those around him. His hobbies reflected this same inventive spirit: he enjoyed video games, was constantly picking up new interests, and found great satisfaction in making parts and various creations with his 3-D printer.
Andrew also delighted in humor and camaraderie. He loved to tell jokes and gently tease those around him, creating an atmosphere of warmth and connection wherever he went.
Andrew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Laurence Conroy, Helen Bergman, Bearnard Haussler and Carol Haussler; good friend, Brandon Cooper.
He is lovingly survived by his son, Blake of Cozad; father Charlie Conroy of Cozad and mother Tammy Hoselton of Cozad; sister, Meggan Bowers of Cozad and her daughter Josie; his dear Anna; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
