Alice E. Campbell

Alice E. Campbell of Cozad passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska at the age of 84. Alice was born on April 13, 1941, in Palatka, Florida, to John Henry and Bessie (Droughty) Lee.

She dedicated much of her career to working in the deli at several grocery stores, including Jack and Jill, Fiesta Foods, and Peterson's Supermarket.

In 1976, Alice married Ernest Campbell, and together they were blessed with five children: John, Alice, Ann, Harold, and Tina. Throughout their lives, the family moved numerous times before finally settling in Cozad, Nebraska, where they raised their children.

Alice had a passion for fishing and enjoyed spending her free time by the water. She also loved watching church services on television every Sunday, finding solace and inspiration in her faith.

She was preceded by her parents; 1 sister; her daughter, Alice Corbitt; 2 grandchildren, Tiffany Hood and Joseph Harold Campbell.

Survivors include her husband; 4 children, John (Tracy) Hamilton of GA, Ann Hamilton of FL, Harold (Gloria) Campbell of Limon, Tina (John) Prande of Cozad; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 1 sister.

There will be no service.
