Darcy J Ritterbush

Darcy J. Ritterbush of Cozad passed away October 15, 2016 at Cozad Community Hospital at the age of 49. Darcy was born July 4, 1967 at Cozad, Nebraska to Ronald and Barbara (Minnick) Ritterbush. She graduated from Lexington High School. Darcy was a resident client at South Central Development Center for many years. She enjoyed dancing, listening to country western music and attending concerts. Darcy could light up a room and lift everyone's spirits with her welcoming smile. Her warmth and kindness stayed in your heart forever. Darcy was preceded in death by her father; infant sister, Mary; and her grandparents. She is lovingly survived by her mother, Barbara Ritterbush of Cozad; 2 brothers, Chris Jayne) Ritterbush of Fulshear, TX and Jason (Rebecca) Ritterbush of Gretna, NE; nieces, Gabbie, Sloane, Alexis and Reagan; uncles, John (Genene) Minnick of Lincoln, Steve (Chris) Minnick of Lincoln and Tom (Sharon) Ritterbush of Hot Springs, SD; aunt, Dianna Robenson of Grand Island; and best friend, Lindsey Sears of Cozad. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Don O'Brien as celebrant. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m on Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be at Cozad Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 8 at Berryman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
