Roland L. Davis

Roland Davis, age 76 of Cozad, passed away January 7, 2016 at Golden Living Center. Roland was born March 13, 1939 at Grand Island, Nebraska to Walter and Mildred (Billington) Davis where he attended school. Roland joined the U.S. Army after high school. On May 17, 1958 he married Sharon Noble at Grand Island. Roland worked as a machinist at Hornady Manufacturing in Grand Island for 15 years. The couple moved to Cozad in 1998. Roland enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Sharon; 9 brothers and sisters; and granddaughter, Savannah. Survivors include 3 daughters, Cindy Zornes of Grand Island, Christine (Randy) Russell of Bladen, NE and Tammy (John) Lee of Cozad; 1 brother, Dean Davis of Phoenix, AZ; 9 grandchildren, Becky Pitts, Nathaniel Zornes, Johnathon Lee, Jennifer Allen, Christopher Lee, Jack Russell, Joshua Zornes, Michael Lee and Mikala Lee; and a great grandson, Preston Zornes.
