Sandra K. Cooper of Cozad passed away November 23, 2015 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 60. She was born April 16, 1955 at Kremmling, Colorado to John and Barbara (Gray) Pacheco. She attended school at Granby, Colorado. On October 19, 1974, she married Ron Cooper. The couple was blessed with 3 children, Charity, Clay and Brandon. Sandra was a mail carrier for over 18 years. She was a very creative person, writing poems and putting thoughts and feelings on paper. She enjoyed listening to music and gambling, especially the penny slots. Sandra liked to watch true crime shows, Days of Our Lives and was even caught watching 'Doc McStuffins' even when the grandkids weren't around. Fishing with her family was one her favorite past times, and would yell 'Fish On' when someone caught a fish. She was an excellent cook and skilled at crocheting. Sandra cherished time spent with her family, her grandchildren meant everything to her. She will be missed by many. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Twila Lee; brother-in-law, Bill Lee; sister-in-laws, Linda Pacheco and Sue Hardy. Survivors include, her husband Ron of Cozad; daughter, Charity (Tom) Dunphy of Gothenburg; sons, Clay (Stacey) Cooper of Cozad and Brandon (Jenni) Cooper of Cozad; grandchildren, Avery, Bethany and Brogan Dunphy, Ashland and Dylan Cooper, Riley and Jenn Gainsforth, Garrett and Trinity Cooper; brothers, John 'Sonny' (Ellen) Pacheco Jr. of Granby, CO, Manuel (Kathy) Pacheco of Wallace, NE, Erold 'Dean' Pacheco of Grand Junction, CO and Steven (Dori) Pacheco of Delta, CO; sisters Johanna 'Joan' Staton of Troy OH, Monita Pacheco (Betty Mingee) of Denver, CO and Delilah 'Corine' (Art) Becker of Cozad; and many extended family and friends. A memorial has been established in her memory. Online condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome.com. Services will be Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Deines officiating. Burial will be at the Cozad Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
