David R. Hall

David R. Hall, age 66 of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Cozad, Nebraska. David was born November 4, 1948 at Hastings, Nebraska to Raymond and Glendoris (Lindeman) Hall. He attended school at Hastings. On May 3, 1968, David married Barbara Kuhnke. He entered the US Army on June 30, 1969 and served during Vietnam. He worked as a lineman and retired from NPPD in May of 2013. David was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed reloading ammo. He looked forward to the yearly deer trip to Maywood. David greatly enjoyed time spent visiting with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather, Harold Kissell. Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Lexington; daughter, Jessica Sheldon of Lexington; sons, Bradley Hall of Lexington and Brian Hall of Colorado; mother Glendoris Kissell of Hastings; brother, Tom (Linda) Hall of Axtell; sister, Janice (Darin) Jares of Grand Island; Matt (Sarah) Hall of Grand Island; father-in-law, Dale Kuhnke of Hastings; and 5 grandchildren, Nick, Jeff, Andy, Asa and Gatlin. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory. Online condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome.com. Cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Loren Lindeman officiating. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
