Manuel Rodriguez Sanchez

Manuel Rodriguez Sanchez, age 50 of Cozad, passed away February 14, 2015 at his home. Manuel was born May 9, 1964 in Juarez, Mexico to Manuel Rodriguez Del Rio and Maria Emma Sanchez. He moved with his family to California in 1970 and later to Nebraska in 1996. He was employed as a butcher and most recently worked at Walmart. Survivors include his children, Manuel (Jesica) Rodriguez of Gothenburg, NE and Maria Rodriguez of Lexington, NE; 2 brothers, Rigoberto (Lorena) Rodriguez of Cozad and Samuel Rodriguez of Mexico; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and loved ones. Manuel was preceded in death by his parents; wife and sister. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church in Cozad with Father Jorge Canela officiating. Burial will be at the Cozad Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Berryman Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel. Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad is in charge of arrangements.
