Cori R Schutz

Cori (Arends) Schutz died on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014, in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born on May 24, 1977, to Deb (Phipps) and Ed Arends. Her childhood was largely spent in Elwood and she attended college in Kearney at the University of Nebraska. She married Anthony Schutz and they moved to Lincoln in 2000. She worked for Lincoln Public Schools. Cori and Anthony have three children: Angelina (born in 2002), Berlyn (born in 2004), and Celia (born in 2008). Cori's paternal grandparents died before her. She is survived by everyone reading this, including too many family members to list. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elwood. Private graveside services will be held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory. We will also celebrate Cori's life this fall on a football Saturday, Cori would have preferred that. Plans will be forthcoming.
