Freddie L. Waltermire

Freddie L. Waltermire passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at his home in Cozad at the age of 45. Freddie was born January 22, 1969 at Cozad to Gordon and Linda (Thompson) Waltermire. He attended Cozad City Schools. Freddie worked for an area hay mill and was a supervisor at IBP in Lexington. He has worked construction for Paulsen, Inc. for the past 9 years. Freddie enjoyed hunting and fishing and most of all spending time with his family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his step father Henry Schmidt; and sister Jewel Schmidt-Waltermire. Freddie is lovingly survived by his parents Gordon Waltermire and Linda Thompson; son Gordon Waltermire; 3 daughters, Bonnie Waltermire, Misty Waltermire and Jasmine Waltermire; 1 grandchild Skyler Hoffman; 2 brothers, John Schmidt and Brian (Tabatha) Schmidt; and sister Rita (Alvin) Guyle. Memorial services will be Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel.
