Carole Harris

Carole B. Harris, age 76 of Cozad, passed away December 26, 2013 at the Lexington Hospital. Carole was born August 6, 1937, to Guy and Gladys (Fox) Cone, at Sargent, Nebraska. She grew up in Burwell and attended school there. Carole was united in marriage to Ernest Harris, Sr. on November 4, 1956 at Burwell. They were self-employed and lived in the communities of Ansley and North Platte before retiring to Cozad in 1996. She was a member of the Cozad United Methodist Church in Cozad. Survivors include her husband, Ernest (Willis) Harris Sr. of Cozad, Ernest (Ronda) Harris Jr. of Lexington, Thomas Harris of North Platte, daughter, Susan (John) Kulhanek of Lexington, sister Mildred Maly of Ord, seven grandchildren, Traci (Brandon) Weber, Timothy Harris, David Harris, Katherine (Jan-Michael) Cruz, Megan (Justin) Bebb, Ryan (Chelsey) Kulhanek, and Matthew Kulhanek, three great-grandchildren; Micah, Sterling, and Bella. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, and daughter-in-law, Judith Harris. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Cozad United Methodist Church in Cozad. Burial will be at the Cozad Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad. Memorials are suggested to the Thrift Center for missions. Condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome.com.
