Charlotte R. Kirkpatrick, age 92, of Lexington, died November 23, 2013 at the Plum Creek Healthcare Community in Lexington. Charlotte was born on November 7, 1921 in St. Edward, NE to Pearl E. and Minnie (Lee) Morris. Charlotte graduated from High School in Primrose, NE. She married Peter Feik in 1939. To this union, four children were born, Edward, Charles, Marge, and Michael. On November 27, 1964, she married John D. “Shorty” Kirkpatrick Sr. in Myrtle, SD. The couple lived in rural Cozad where they were antique dealers for many years. John preceded her in death on August 2, 1992. In 1993, Charlotte moved to Lexington. Charlotte was a member of the Eagles Club in Lexington and volunteered many hours at the Lexington Grand Generation Center. Survivors include her children, Charles Feik of Phillipsburg, KS, and Marge (John) Fagot of Lexington; two sisters, Darlene Finkhouse of Norfolk, NE, and Joann (Robert) Rich of Tilden, NE; a daughter-in-law, Marsha Feik of Cozad; 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two sons, Edward Paul Feik, and Michael John Feik; a sister Virge Edwards. A memorial has been established to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and online condolences can be made at www.berrymanfuneralhome.com. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 27, 2013 at the Berryman Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Cozad Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday November 26, 2013 from 1-8 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
