Richard Rich Kline

Richard ""Rich""� Nilsson Kline, age 62 of Lexington, passed away on Monday, June 3 2013 at the Lexington Regional Health Center at Lexington. Rich was born March 5, 1951 at Gothenburg, NE to Boyd and Kathryn (Nilsson) Kline. He graduated from Cozad High School in 1969 and went on to attend Hastings Tech studying sales. Rich married Nancy J. Stoll on August 25, 1973 at Cozad. This union was blessed with 2 daughters, Merigan and Allison. Rich worked for Bethphage Mission of the Great Plains in Holdrege, Monroe""s in Cozad and New Holland in Lexington for many years before he found himself selling monuments for Kline Brothers Monuments and Holdrege Monument, a service that he was proud to provide until the time of his death. Rich was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his 2 granddaughters. He enjoyed traveling to see his daughters and he loved Nebraska Football. Rich knew no stranger and enjoyed serving the many families in the areas for years. His kind hearted spirit and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him. Rich was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington and the Lexington Lions Club. He also belonged to many coffee groups in the area. He was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law, Clifford and Eunice Stoll; and a brother-in-law, Lee Perkins. Rich is survived by his loving wife, Nancy of Lexington; 2 daughters, Merigan (Sean) Kline-Neben of Naperville, IL and Allison (Jeremy) Towne of Omaha; 2 granddaughters, Ella Neben and Ava Neben of Naperville, IL; brother, Maurice (Lou Ann) Kline of Cozad; 2 brothers-in-law, Jerry (Sandy) Stoll of North Platte and Paul (Sherry) Stoll of Yutan, NE; sister-in-law, Sue Perkins of Omaha; as well as many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Grace Lutheran Caring Cooks or AKALOO (Grace Lutheran Church children""s ministry) in his memory. Condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome.com. Services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington with Pastor Megan Morrow officiating. Burial will be in the Cozad Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m., at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad. Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad is in charge of arrangements.
